It did sort-of, kind-of resemble a root beer float, but the Irish cream didn't quite taste right. Cream or milk would have been better in place of the Irish Cream. Gently stir in the milk or cream based liquor after all the foam has settled.

Beef Peach Pie

As is 3 stars. Recommended changes: Do not form the meat loaf as directed otherwise you will have a big pool of fat on top of your meatloaf. Just form like a traditional meatloaf. Skip using sliced peaches and use a peach preserve instead. I think this balances out the meatloaf to sweetness ratio better.

Captain Crunch Chicken

Sadly these had a strange flavor and baking them seemed to cause the coating to have a sludgey/soggy sort of feel. If I tried these again I would try frying them instead, as well as adding seasoning.

Baked Ziti I

Absolutely delicious! Leftovers were great as well. I typically don't use ground beef in baked pasta dishes, so I recommend Italian or Sweet Italian Sausage instead. I think it adds better flavor and texture than ground beef. Some roasted red bell peppers mixed in would make a nice addition to this.

Wonderful! This was the most popular dessert at my baby shower. I used the Betty Crocker brand of brownie mix, which is my personal favorite. Sooo delish!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake II

Moist and delicious! I would highly recommend making this at least one day, if not two, ahead of time. Pound cakes get better each day, and by day two this cake was so delicious! I made a thinner glaze and served the extra glaze in a small bowl alongside the cake.

Fluff Dip for Fruit

The amaretto flavor is pretty strong, but delicious. I would recommend using Jello brand pudding mix. A generic brand was used for mine and I personally didn't think it tasted as good as it could have. Everyone else still raved about it though.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

I omitted the nuts and added a cup of extra chocolate chips instead. My cookies were great -- but they were 'soft' rather than 'chewy'. Still a great cookie though.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Delicious! I had hoped that my husband would like this even though he isn't a fan of cream cheese, but he wasn't able to eat it. More for me anyways. :) I thought it was truly delicious.

Chocolate Eclair Cake

Increased the chocolate topping by one and a half and it still was not enough. I used confectioners' sugar and it still turned out grainy due to the cocoa powder. I would advise others to look up a different recipe for the topping. Otherwise it was delicious and very easy to make.

Jam Kolaches

Very dissapointed with this recipe. The dough didn't roll out whatsoever. I ended up having to form the dough into mini muffin tins, and even then the kolaches fell apart when you tried to get them out of the pan. I wasted a nice jar of authentic danish cherry jam on these...such a shame.

Cream Puffs

Incredibly easy and they turned out perfect! I'd never made cream puffs before, but it is pretty hard to screw this one up. I didn't use their version of pastry cream, instead I used a very highly rated recipe for pastry cream on all recipes since I had all of the ingredients on hand. Turned out amazing!
