I'm 22 years old and just started to seriously get into baking. I've worked in kitchens since I was 15 years old, but nothing really amazing. (McDonald's, Applebee's, Chicago UNO Grill) I am currently attending the Culinary Institute of America to get an Associate's Degree in Baking and Pastry.
When I'm not baking, I like to draw and paint, go bowling, work out, skateboard, watch movies, and just have a good time. I love animals, going to the beach, and exploring New York City. I'm always up for new and exciting things that challenge me.
My favorite things to cook
My favourite things: Desserts. Cakes, cakes, cakes. I really love making layered cakes and cannot wait to go to school so I can also learn how to make all kinds of various desserts. My favourite thing to eat of all time? I don't think I have one, but Creme Brulee is up there!
My favorite family cooking traditions
The only thing I've ever really cooked as a family tradition are Rice Balls. Basically, it's a ball of rice with a center of anything you want. (broccoli, meat, peppers, etc)
My cooking triumphs
The best thing I have ever made that was extreme delicious and came out perfectly was Buttercream Frosting. It was just so creamy and tasty and delicious. Mmmm...
My cooking tragedies
Well, I've had my fair share of mishaps and tragedies, but nothing beats the one horrible time I made cookies while visiting a friend. I don't remember what went wrong, but oh my goodness... the garbage wasn't hungry that day.
