I have four kids, ages 2 to 17 (should i have included my husband in there?). I substitute teach almost full time. My kids are HARD to please! My husband and I love to eat and cook together when he is not working too late. Italian, vegetarian and of course desserts! We are starting new traditions. I try to have the teenagers cook once a week so that they will not be scared to try new recipes. The 17 year old is a boy and seems to enjoy it more than the 15 year old girl. Growing up my job in the kitchen was after the meal had been eaten and it took me a long time to gain any confidence in the kitchen. Now I love to make large meals and have lots of people over to eat! Every year we have lots of people over for Thanksgiving dinner, mostly I organize but that's a big part of a good meal, right? Too many to list!
