Loved it!! I wanted a hearty chili so based on other reviews I used diced tomatoes in place of the tomato juice. I also used two cans of kidney beans (omitting the pinto beans) and a jar of salsa for a special kick. Oh my goodness this chili was soooo good!

This recipe was delicious. I used beef broth in place of the water and I also added my carrots and potatoes about 2 1/2 hrs into the cooking time to prevent them from being overcooked. My husband enjoyed it! I took some over to my parents house for them to try and now they want me to make them a pot! This is the second recipe by Corwynn that I've tried and both were very, very good!

My husband has been asking me to make a pot pie for some time now. I was relunctant to make one because I thought I would mess it up but I came across this recipe and it is definitely a keeper! After reading some of the other reviews, I decided to add potatoes to the filling. I was able to fill two deep dish pie crusts with this recipe. I couldn't have expected a better dish, especially with this being my first attempt ever at making a pot pie.
