White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

I subbed in 1/2 cup of shortening per some other reviews, and they turned out nice and soft. The teaspoon-sized servings made for adorable bite-sized cookies that went fast...all 4 dozen of them!

Salmon with Tomatoes

Champagne Cake I

Not too sweet and nice, dense cake. Just a hint of champagne flavor not overwhelming. I frosted with store-bought DH white chocolate almond frosting. Yummy!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

I took others' advice and stirred in the marshmallow after boiling. Used 1 cup butterscotch, 1 cup milk chocolate, and 1 cup semi-sweet chips. Very versatile.

I used all graham crackers and omitted the peanut butter in the topping (to avoid killing my boyfriend and pastor!) and it still turned out great. Can't go wrong with chocolate and sugar!

The cinnamon flavoring was a little weak. Had to use a cup of milk with 1 T. lemon juice instead of buttermilk. Bread turned out a little dry for my taste.

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

My friend Melissa had the brilliant idea to bake them in muffin tins when my baking pan turned out to be too small. You want to reduce baking time if you try this, though, as mine got a bit burnt.

These were a hit when I brought them into fellowship, though I suspect college students will eat pretty much anything. I made a second batch substituting raisins for the chocolate chips...those were devoured too!

Cake Mix Cookies VI

I only had white cake mix in the house, but it still came out great. The dough was kind of crumbly at first, so be sure to mix well. I found that shaping the dough into balls helped form more uniform cookies (although one of them burst open with very eclectic and delicious results) These were a hit when I brought them into work. Try crunchy peanut butter for extra texture.
