I'm a college student, so I don't get to cook a whole lot, but I spent a good decade learning to cook in 4-H and learning from my mom. I'm really a dessert person...if it's sweet, I like to make it. Anything my mom makes (it was great in high school, and now that all I have is cafeteria food it's even better!). Pies, they're usually fairly easy for me, and there are so many interesting and good recipes to try! The first time I made an apple pie I misread the recipe and turned 2 teaspoons of salt into tablespoons...oops.
