I love trying new recipes,I am not as creative as my husband but I'm getting there.My Dad is the cook of the family,several people have hired him to cater weddings,anniversaries and birthday's.That is not his line of work and now that he is retired he enjoys keeping busy and making good food for others.I am still waiting for his coney sauce recipe.I have two daughters who are now young adults,they grew up way too fast.And I take care of other children so my house is never quiet. I would have to say baking.....I love sweets! The holidays,when the families get together and bake cookies,breads,cakes,pies and bars. Also family cook outs.....my husband loves to grill. I would have to say my sand plum jam and blackberry jam.It is very time consumming,having to pick and pit the plums.I was very intimidated by the thought of it,I have heard several horror stories, and one day I decided to go for it.It turned out amazing!The best I have ever tasted......plus the kids love the picking and tasting process. LOL.....too many to count.But I am happy to say there haven't been any tragedies for some time now.....not saying it won't happen again.
