Orange-Ginger Sweet Potato Casserole
I followed the recipe, but I just wasn't happy with the result. It tasted like an orange creamsicle to me. Others at the table were happy with it, but I think it needed nutmeg, allspice, or cinnamon. It was way too orange for my taste.

Corn and Rice Medley
Loved the mint in this... Loved the shallots. I'm thinking of adding garlic next time or, maybe, saffron. Very good!

Aromatic Asparagus
Maybe I did something wrong, but I couldn't get the sauce to thicken. Also, the asparagus cooked for way too long. The potential is definitely there, though.
