Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole
About this Cook
My husband and I have just recently really started to enjoy baking and cooking. I joined this site to compile a lot of recipes to try because we were getting sick of the same old same old. We are really liking all of the new recipes, and are having fun incorporating a lot of fruits and veggies now too. Who needs fast food when you have AllRecipes.com?!?!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking Mexican dishes, as well as oriental, vegetarian, and a lot of chicken and egg recipes too. We enjoy such a large variety of food, and have fun trying out new recipes on a daily basis.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Helping mom in the kitchen during the holidays. There's nothing quite like helping her serve the stuffing, cut the Turkey or Ham, and bringing homemade dishes to share. It definately brings the family together and allows for interesting conversation, and tasty dishes too.
My cooking triumphs
Everyone loves my coleslaw, macaroni salad, and deviled eggs. I also make the wave your flag cake during the summertime and people go goo goo over it.
My cooking tragedies
I once made a vegetarian dish with sundried tomatoes in it and it tasted horrid. I think we threw more of it away than we ate. It really was aweful.

Cream Cheese Frosting II
Delicious and so easy to make. I will definately be using this as my go to recipe for cream cheese frosting now. Thanks Janni!

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole
I thought that this was really tasty and super easy to make. I deviated a bit from the original recipe though. I used 1 package of hot dogs and 1 package of polish sausage. I also used 2 packages of corn bread instead of just 1. I also sprinkled some shredded cheese over the top of it once the rest of it was done baking. I'll also be adding some creamed corn to it the next time that we make it, as well as for leftovers this time. It seems a little dry without the creamed corn, but otherwise it's excellent!

Figs Oozing with Goat Cheese
I reeaaalllly wasn't sure about the goat cheese part of this recipe. I love figs, but wasn't sure how this would turn out. It's absolutely delicious! The goat cheese balances out the figs, and the honey drizzled on it adds the finishing touch. I didn't use the grape leaves and it was still phenominal!
