I'm currently living with my family (Dave my boyfriend, miowmiow our cat + Alan the siamese fighting fish)in Melbourne Australia. Dave and I are both avid cooks and are happiest when friends are here, there's good food on the table and the wine and conversation is flowing. We off travelling for 2 years in December so hope to have lots to contribute! I love baking. We also eat alot of Thai, Italian, Mexican and fish. Our mum always has a food theme for Christmas dinner, which has carried over into mine and my sister's lives. Whenever we go home mum always cooks our favourite desserts. Hunza pie is an old, old recipie and a favourite. Baking for the week on a Saturday with mum. Catering for my boyfriends birthday, a total of 50 people. Cooking for 30 people on a truck trip around Africa. There has been so many... The worst was my oven dying the day before my friends engagement party which i was baking a cake for. She ended up with a cheap store bought cake on the day..quite humiliating!
