Ginger Beef Stir-Fry
Pretty good - I only had oyster sauce, so I'm sure it was a completely different flavor than if I'd used the plum sauce. All the same - all the family enjoyed it, and the baby had a second plate!

Poor Man's Cookies
We love these cookies! During the Lenten season here in Russia, all products of animal origin are excluded, so these cookies are great for serving with tea to guests whether they are fasting or not. I have made them at least 5 times in the last month, and always get a positive response.

Basic Hummus
YUM! This was the first time I had ever made hummus. Pretty plain by itself, but simple to jazz up with lemon juice and extra spices!
