Sesame Tilapia

This was my kids introduction to fish that was not just fried! And it passed with flying colours....my kids are 5, 5, and 4 and they all ate it! Awesome! THanks so much....I thought it a little bland which is why 4 stars but really an easy good recipe you can doctor up to suit.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

I adjusted this recipe to make it gluten free. (I used rice, potato and garbanzo flour and added 2 tsp xanthum gum) everything else I kept as. They were fantastic...my husband did not even know they were gluten free when he raved about them.

Broccoli and Sausage Cavatelli

I would suggest anyone attempting this recipe to look at Boonie12's remarks. I followed those ammendments and it was absoultely fabulous. I would rate it 5 with the ammendments, three without. So 4 for average ;-) (Oh, I used egg noodles b.c. that's all I had...yummy)

Chicken Pot Pie I

Great recipe. I substitued frozen corn and peas and added thyme, oregano etc. It was the perfect texture. Not runny or soggy (my pet peeve)The filling stayed in and could be cut properly

Pastry for Double Pie-Crust

I took someone's suggestion to freeze the shortening, and also make the water ice cold. This was the absoultely BEST crust I ever made and I've been trying and giving up for several years!

Irish Lamb Stew

This was great. I used Turkey Bacon b.c. that's all I had. Therefore, I had to use a little extra oil in the preparations. It turned out great. Not too oily. Will definetly make again.

Garden Pasta Salad

This is great. I used 1 bottle of the Italian dressing to 12 OZ of pasta and used some fresh cilantro (just a little bit) instead of cucumber b.c. that's what I had. Yummy!

Crumb-Coated Chicken Thighs

This was great. I started with Italian Breadcrumbs b.c. that's what I had and added the ingredients you suggested. I just thought it needed more salt....my husband likes way more than he should...hence 4 stars. EASIEST breadcrumb recipe for chicken I've found!

White Chili with Ground Turkey

WOW! I didn't have enough beans so added a tin of corn. Also used "green salsa" instead of the chilis...it was FABULOUS and is now on my weekly menu for Winter!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

FABULOUS. Even though you have more than enough reviews, I had to add my own. My kids gobble this up in one day... My sister says it goes great with Cream Cheese. It's one of the easiest quick breads I've ever made...and Yes I made muffins out of them to give away at Christmas and got great reviews from people as well.
