I'm 26 years old and have been married for 4& 1/2 years. I am hispanic. (puerto rican & Salvadorian). Allthough i am an expert at cooking spanish foods,I have learned to cook a little bit of everything, which is great because I cook and feed my husband a variety of foods that he absolutely loves. There is always something different at the dinner table.If there is something I enjoy,it's cooking!! I enjoy cooking Shepard's Pie,yellow Rice with Pigeon Peas,chicken Pot Pie, Italian dishes. I really don't have a favorite, but baking is my specialty. I even bake home made cookies for my Pomeranian! Through the years, in my family, the biggest dinner is always on Christmas Eve. Everything on the table is Puerto Rican food. for those of you who can relate, we usually have Pasteles, Arroz con Gandules,and Lechon.I love it, and we always cook so much that we have food for days!! I am always complimented on all of me baking. from Cakes to Cookies, I am always called on to bring dessert. I once got a recipie for home made macaroni and cheese. I followed all the directions in detail but it turned out to be a lumpy, and yucky casserole. needless to say, I through that recipie out.
