I'm married with 3 kids. I love to try new recipes. I also enjoy bike riding and horse back riding. I love to cook with chicken and turkey. My kids love it when I bake. My favorite family cooking tradition is making sugar cookies with my kids during the Christmas holiday. I let them decorate however they want even if I think that it looks horrible. Then we give them away as gifts from my kids. I think that any time I try a new recipe, especially if it is with ingredients I am not familiar with, and it turns out good - that is my cooking triumph! The first time I made a cake from scratch I got the recipe from my grandmother over the phone. She said "three fourths cup of shortening" I thought she said three and one fourth cup shortening. It made a realy fluffy batter that caught my oven on fire half way through baking. Even though I have baked that cake many times after that first cake, I still get teased.
