I loved it! Highly recommend. Like others, I added a bit of garlic powder, paprika and red pepper to the meatballs. Not sure if it really needed it as the soup turned out to have a lot of zip. I used a 16 oz. jar of Pace Picante medium. It was a little too spicy for my kids (ages 13 and 15). Serve it with crusty bread and definitely top it with the cilantro. I thought the cilantro added a lot. Next time I might add another potato or two as I really liked the potato flavor and it cut the spice a bit.

Baked Potato Soup III

I have been making this recipe for years and all my family and friends absolutely love it! I have made this soup so many times that I don't measure anything except the flour and butter (I think it is important to have equal portions of these two). I use at least double the potatoes than the recipe calls for as I like a thicker soup. Note that the first time I made this I didn't stir the milk constantly and ended up burning it! So, definitely keep a watchful eye on your pot.

Mrs. Fields Cookie Recipe I

These are the best cookies!! I usually substitute the chocolate chips and nuts for 3 large hershey bars with almonds, chopped coarsely. This is a delicious variation!

I seem to be in the minority here, but I didn't like this recipe at all. It set up fine but the flavor was not good! I will be looking for a different recipe to try next time.

Bing Cherry Gelatin Mold

I seem to be in the minority here, but I thought this jello salad was terrible! The flavor was just not good! It had a strong coca cola flavor (and I love coke) which in my opinion didn't mix well with the rest of the flavors.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

I thought this was very good, not exception though. If I make it again, I will put more seasonings in - I thought it was a little bland. The tortilla chips really added flavor, so don't skip those!

Brown Sugar Smokies

These are so easy and are simply delicious. I make tons of these for every party and they always go fast! My kids, ages 12 and 14, and all of their friends, love them (and like making them too!). I don't measure the brown sugar - I just sprinkle it very liberally over the top.

Hello Dollies II

These are one of my favorite all time cookies! I always make them with either 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs or 1 1/4 cups saltine crackers. Both versions are great. I also am very generous with the coconut as I love coconut!

Cheesy Stuffed Shells

Wow, great flavor! I loved it. Now, I do have to mention that my 11 year old daughter didn't like it - next time I'll leave the spinach out of hers! My 13 year old son ate it but wasn't excited! Maybe keep this recipe for appreciating adults.

Jimmy Dean Southwest Sausage Crepes

These are very good! I followed the recipe exactly except I eliminated the 8 oz. of butter in the topping - they were still delicious! They reheated very well too. Next time I'll make extra and try freezing them.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

This bread is fabulous!!! I used 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 white flour and it turned out perfectly. I also kneaded the dough in my kitchenaid with the dough hook for 5+ minutes and it was so fast and easy. This makes delicious sandwich bread.
