Onion Casserole I

I have made this several times now. The only thing different I did, was I diced most of the onions up, put a layer of onion rings on top. If you don't have Ritz crackers, you can use regular saltines crushed with a little melted butter. You can't tell the difference when it is baked. Thanks for the recipe.

Okay... I added an egg and used buttermilk. Cornbread "anything" just isn't cornbread without those 2 ingredients. I also added a little sugar, since we like our's sweet. I remember eating these when I was a kid. We always put syrup on them. My husband and son loved them.

Hard Taco Shells

This is really neat. I tried making the shells using both flour and corn tortillas. In my honest opinion... GO WITH THE FLOUR. I cooked mine on my cast iron griddle with just a dribble of oil and they turned out wonderful. Thanks!

Very easy, yet very yummy! I made only a half a batch to frost 2 loaves of pumpkin bread. This is a keeper!!!! No more buying the canned stuff. Thanks!

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

I do not like pumpkin. I had a can that someone gave to me, so I tried this recipe. All I can say in YUM!!!! I baked this in 2 cast iron bread pans and it was perfect. I topped it off with a cream cheese frosting. My husband won't leave it alone. I have found a favorite recipe. Thanks!

Get a Husband Brunswick Stew

Out of this world. I did make a couple of changes. I used left over pork roast and left over chicken that I chopped. I also used stewed tomatoes and only 2 cans of the corn. I gave everything awhirl or two in the food processor, before cooking.

Out of this world! I just made this with the jarred peppers. I added a spicy Italian sausage with chunked leftover chicken along with Penne Pasta. Two Thumbs Up!!!!

Applesauce Cake IV

This is the best! I doubled the recipe, since my husband would have been disappointed if I hadn't. I have made this several times. It always turns out very moist. I only use homemade applesauce for this recipe - out of this world. Thanks!

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

I have been making all of our bread except for buns for about a year now. I made these this morning and they are wonderful. I will not be buying any more buns. I do all my mixing and rising in a bread machine. This is a very easy recipe. Thanks for sharing!

This is the best recipe. I used red grapes and left out the celery. This was very moist. I'm in the South and used Dukes mayo. I made this for our ladies luncheon at church. Everyone raved about it and wanted the recipe. Thanks!
