I love to cook - when I have time! Unfortunately, with a husband, 3 kids and a full-time job I find myself short on time most of the time!!! I love to bake - cookies, cakes, desserts and especially yeast breads. I love to browse my mom's cookbooks and recipe box. It is fun to find recipes I remember loving as a kid. Plus she has recipes written on everything from deposit slips to church programs shoved in that recipe box. My mom is a great cook and she bakes even better but she didn't know how to make yeast breads. I taught myself and then taught her. It was great to be able to teach her something for a change.
