About this Cook
I'm 18 and would be considered a 'young' cook. I've been baking ever since I was old enough to be let loose in the kitchen! (Probably since I was about 8 years old) I've been taking my cooking seriously and preparing meals for several years. Before that I was always helping whoever would let me!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! But there is nothing like preparing a well rounded meal for my family to enjoy! I like to keep a good variety going and always enjoy trying new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family makes a middle eastern dish called, Grape Leaves. They are great, but making them is fun too!

Pleasant Pork Chops
Everyone in my family really enjoyed this cooking method. I'll be honest though, I did not stick to the recipe. We were having it with baked french fries and so did no use the gravy....

Mocha Chip Bundt Cake
Wow! This cake is so good that my whole family enjoyed it...No big deal right? WRONG - I'm the only member of my family that enjoys chocolate cake! Normally if its' a chocolate cake they will not touch it. This was a beautiful cake and a recipe I plan to hang onto! The only thing I would change is possibly sprucing it up with some fresh red fruit (strawberries or raspberries)...I'm not big on "sprinkles" so my cake looked sort of plain.
