Out sighting in the guns for deer season...
About this Cook
I grew up in a small oklahoma town watching my mom,dad and great uncle cook. I have always been in the kitchen for as long as i can remember! I was always wanting to help and learn how to do thing with different foods. There are times when i sit and just think of new ways to cook something. after i get a few different ways i head to the kitchen to try them out. something i totally enjoy doing!!!!!!!!
My favorite things to cook
White Chocolate Bread pudding or my fav. Berry Cake. Not to mention the Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Honestly we do not have many but the Pickled Beet Eggs and Stuffed Celery are always expected.
My cooking triumphs
When I was messing around in the kitchen and came up with my yummy steak wraps. They are thin cut sirlons with steamed veggies wraped up together and grilled.
My cooking tragedies
When we had a huge cook out I pulled the baked beans off the grill and some of the juice spilled on my arm and I threw the pan all over the grill. I ended up with a 2nd degree burn on my arm. It seems its never a good party or BBQ till I burn some part of me. LOL

Fiber One(R) Chocolate-Peanut Butter Haystacks
These were really good, Changes made was 3 oz Butterscotch chips were added, I used Milk Choco instead of semi sweet and Chunky PB! I used all organic ingredients and did enjoy these a lot.

Amazing Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake
Very good only complaint was the timing was off i had to cook it almost 4 hours an was still slightly gooey in the center. Hubby even approved of this and said he liked the center the way it was LOL. Changes I made was as follows. (1) I used Ghirardelli chocolate cocoa (2) did make sure to temer the mix with the egg when adding the water. (3) I used EVO instead of veggie oil and only used a 1/4 not a half.

Marshmallow and Peanut Butter Dessert
This was not a good mix of ingredients... it was very heavy, and if you are not careful it becomes greasy. only thing I changed was last min hubby ate my M&Ms so i used pieces of a Hersey's bar.
