Mom's Best Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2006
We throughoughly enjoyed this as a quick go to recipe. My husband was working late and the girls and I were looking for a fun, quick recipe and came across this one. It was VERY fast and I always have all the ingredients on hand. Everyone really liked them and even my picky 1 year old happily ate them. They were best eaten right away, nice and piping hot!

Ashley's Chicken Katsu with Tonkatsu Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2006
I made this recipe, and the chicken turned out lovely. I also made the sauce but no one here liked it at all. It was very strong, and probably one of those aquired tastes. The method of cooking the chicken was wonderful though!

Pancakes I

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2006
This was an easy simple recipe that I already have all the ingredients on hand at all times. My family loved it! My husband even ate one and he NEVER eats pancakes! I added a tiny bit of vanilla like a lot of other users suggested but I didn't cut down on the milk. I guess that just depends on what type of texture you prefer. I like my pancakes a tad on the thin side so it was great for us :)

My whole family loved this recipe. I made it exactly as the recipe suggests, and we ate them before they were completely frozen hard, and they were delightful. EVERYONE liked them! Yum!

Chicken Katsu

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2006
I LOVED this recipe. The chicken was super tasty! It was so simple, yet really flavorful. I too fried it in olive oil, and we topped ours with sweet and sour sauce. It was SOOO good! I'll never cook chicken breasts with any other coating. This was my first try with Panko, but what a difference it made!

Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
I made this for dinner tonight for my picky family. I didn't add the paprika, since I didn't have any and instead of hamburger I used pre-cooked meatballs ( that I already had in the freezer) I heated up the meatballs and then sauteed a tiny bit of fresh onion with them before I added them to the sauce. I also added a tiny dash of salt and pepper and 5 drops of worstershire sauce. I mixed it with egg noodles, kind of like a swedish meatball/stroganoff type meal. Every one just loved it. :)
