This cookie is fair at best. I followed the directions to a T. You can't even taste the pumpkin at all in this cookie. I dont understand all of the rave reviews considering how mediocre this is. I am very disappointed.

Based on other reviews, I used extra sharp cheddar, extra apple and used apple sauce in place of the oil. The apple and cheddar are both still too subtle for my taste.

This is an excellent muffin. I did what another reviewer suggested and added 1 t each nutmeg and cinnamon. I also used canned peaches (all I had on hand) and they turned out very well. Next time I will make sure the peaches are chopped finely. I also will use room temp butter for the praline topping. This is great, thanks for the recipe. I will definitely make this one many more times.
