I love to bake. Cookies are my specialty however I am always looking for new things to make. My husband is allergic to dairy so I am always on the look out for new ways to substitute dairy in my favorite recipes. My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur and Passover. I love these because my mother used to make the best Tzimmes( sweet potato, carot and brisket casserole), matzo ball soup and stuffed cabbage for the Jewish Holidays and the most wonderful turkey for Thanskgiving. Now that she is gone it is up to me to carry on these deliscious traditions.
