This soup is simply delicious when prepared exactly as the recipe says. However, at times when I've been especially lazy, I have used a 20oz. package of OreIda frozen potatoes prepared according to the package directions. I just add them when I add the cream. Crisp, crumbled bacon and chopped green onions are a great addition. This is a recipe I use often. We love it!

This recipe is GREAT! The only changes I made were using hot salsa, as others suggested, and adding a can of whole kernel corn. I halved it because I thought it would be too much for just my husband and I. I should have made the entire recipe... we both loved it!

This pie is FANTASTIC just the way it is... sooooo easy and deliciious... cuts beautifully... however, I added 1/2 C of white chocolate chips and 1/3 C fresh coconut and it was over the top!!!
