Chicken Tortilla Soup V
Very yummy! We are not usually big soup people but this one is a keeper. Next time I will add more broth...I was scared to stray from the recipe the first time making it or I would have taken others recommendations on this. I also added some Rotel diced chilies and tomatoes. And next time I will also add some El Pato Tomato Sauce (which is a spicy Mexican tomato sauce). We all ate ours differently some of us used Frito corn chips, some used white corn chips, and everyone agreed my technique was the best. Before I put the soup in my bowl I added about a half a handful of shredded cheese. I then poured the soup over it...then added more cheese to the top. I used flour tortillas to dip in the soup. It was YUMMY...the cheese at the bottom makes a nice gooey chewy bottom that sticks some of the shredded chicken together.
