About this Cook
I was born in 1946 and learned most of my baking tips from my mom's twin sister. I have been married since 1967, have 2 daughters, 3 grandaughters and a grandson born 4-14-06. Love my dog, have a new giant schnoodle, Mowgli.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and to adapt recipes to a low fat format. Am Italian so I like anything pasta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
christmas cooking with friends and family makes the season for me. Pasties (a cornish dish)are a must for a Yooper.
My cooking triumphs
anytime people come back for more or ask for recipe is a triumph and both happen all the time.
My cooking tragedies
first cake at age 11. flatter than a pancake, but big brother ate most of it and told me it was wonderful. Got to love those big brothers
