Spiced Banana Bread
Mine turned out great. I would add nuts (personal preference) if anyone else in my family would eat them. I made mine using half whole wheat pastry flour.

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter
I made this just as the recipe is written, except I grilled it in a grill pan on the stove instead of a BBQ outstide. I just didn't really like it...I love butter and garlic, but this didn't work for me. I will save the butter and garlic for shrimp or crab.

Potato Cheese Soup
As other reviewers have said, I too, do NOT like swiss cheese. I used it anyway and thought it turned out great! I used chicken broth instead of vegetable broth because that is what I had on hand. I changed the method by making a roux...melt the butter in a pot, whisk in the flour, add the milk and stir over heat until thick. Add the cheese to the milk mixture. Then I added the milk mixture to the potato mixture. It was great!
