About this Cook
I am a stay at home mother of 2 boys that are 18 months apart. Born 5/07 and 12/08. I love cooking, scrapbooking, sewing, fishing, camping, swimming, hunting, going for walks, going out to eat.. anything fun. I am 22 years old and live in Ohio. I will be married in July 2009 to the father of our 2 children. We spend a lot of family time together, my soon to be husband even helps me with recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking just about anything, desserts are fun, I do a lot of cake decorating. Pasta is my favorite thing to eat. I like making things from scratch that people don't normally make at home.
My cooking tragedies
I have made an attempt at baked macaroni and cheese. It turned out so awful and I have no idea why. My boyfriend hated it and I will never try again.

Waffles I
They way I made these turned out great. I made these into all healthy waffles. I used King Arthur's Whole Wheat Flour, Organic Vanilla Soy Milk ( can use the low fat kind, although it's already low in fat!), I used Splenda and doubled it as suggested by others. Instead of oil I used a 4 oz jar of baby food. I didn't have applesauce like others suggested so I looked for a baby food applesauce and only found "Apples & Peaches" but it worked just the same! Then to top the waffles I used Smart Balance Omega with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Butter Spread & Maple Grove Farms Sugar Free Syrup. These tasted pretty much like a regular waffle only WAY healthy. Plus with all the fiber you will feel full after one and stay full for a good part of the day!!

Mom's Zucchini Bread
This bread was amazing, my boyfriend, our 2 year old son and I ate a whole loaf while it was sitting on the rack to cool! I did use wheat flour, not white. I used about 3 cups of zucchini and could have used more. I used 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar. I also put the crumb topping on 15 minutes before it was done cooking. And the only reason I gave 4 stars is because there were a few changes to be made to the original recipe that I got from other ratings. The result that I came out with is the best, we can't stop eating it!

Corn Dogs
This didn't work out at all.. I tried to cut up the hot dogs and deep fry for mini corn dogs.. I froze the batter for 30 minutes, I dried off the hot dogs all the way and all I got was a huge mess. The batter and hot dogs seperated in the deep fryer and I had to scrape it out onto a plate.. looked more like a casserole.. not sure why it went so bad. :(
