Im 21 years old and living in Florida. Im currently starting my own business helping small to mid sized businesses gain an online web presence to help their business grow. I love it, I also can work from home! Im also finishing up my GED, and I plan to attend college for graphic design, or something with computers. Im torn between 2 things I really enjoy! I have some time to figure it out though. If you have any questions about me and my business please feel free to email me! vdm04@yahoo.com Id live to hear from ya!! :-)~
My favorite things to cook
I dont have one thing I really enjoy to cook, since I am still learning and perfecting dishes I can already successfully cook. I enjoy baking, cookies and such for the holidays. I like cooking pastas and different types of seafood. I guess one of my favorite things to cook is veggies. I always steam them or cook them on the grill. Its plain and simple, but I love veggies! There isnt anything better then fresh veggies with dinner or just as a snack, raw or steamed.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I used to love when my mom started making cookies for Christmas. She made soooo many. One of the last things she got into before she passed away was making Pizzelles. They tasted awesome! It made her very happy when she baked.I used to love to help and stay up late. It would be cold and snowy out and there we were in the nice warm kitchen!!
My cooking triumphs
Beef Tenderloin!!! One of the finest meats I have ever had!!! I had it last Christmas with my boyfriends family and it was just awesome. So I had to make one this year myself! Ive never spent $90 on meat before in my life! But it was a hit with the family along with the creme sauce I made for the meat! Mwahahahahaha!!! LOL.
My cooking tragedies
Well when I was 10 or 11 I wanted to make one of those frozen chicken patties on a bun. So I decided to get out a skillet and use oil this time around. So after I made the chicken patty,to cool off the water I got a huge glass of water and just poured it into the oil. And man did it crackle! Nothing bad happened thank goodness. But I ran into the living room and told my mom I had it under control lol. I didnt know hot oil and water were bad together haha!
