This was absolutely wonderful! One of the best casseroles I've ever made. I used fresh jalepenos, as I grow them in the garden. Just the right about of heat.

Asian Orange Chicken

Very tasty! Also tried the sauce with 5-Spice powder for a little variation. Added wonderful depth. Served with stir-fried broccoli and brown rice. Even my picky 5-year-old ate every bite!

This was a great combination of flavors, but the texture could use some tweaking. It wasn't as thick as I'd like. Will make it again, but will probably puree some of the beans to improve the thickness.

Lime Garlic Chicken

This recipe gets any stars at all for having the basic ingredients and several kind people with helpful suggestions. The proportions are all wrong in my opinion. I used 1/4 of the amount of but and 2 limes. Any more fat would have ruined the chicken and made a slimy, greasy mess. With adjustments, it was quite tasty.

Pan-Roasted Chicken with Cherries and Port on Buttered Spaetzle

I made one alteration to this recipe, accounting for personal taste. No one in my family is fond of liver, chicken or otherwise, so I used crispy bacon instead. I also recommend saute-ing the spaetzle in smaller batches.

Spicy Chicken and Cilantro Wontons

This is one of the best wonton recipes I've ever had. I used some chicken leftover from a previous roast. Made tons more filling than I could use, but it had frozen well. Just be sure to thaw and drain before using as stuffing again.

these were really good. My only suggestion is that if you do the salt soak, don't add salt after frying. They would be way too salty at that point.

dry and bland. might be OK with some changes. Add rosemary or thyme. Try Sherry instead of white wine? Pan sear the chicken and bake for 30 minutes?
