About this Cook
I love to bake for my family.
My favorite things to cook
Breads and desserts are my favorite.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I do most of the baking, while my husband does a lot of the cooking.
My cooking triumphs
I nailed yeast bread! For me that is an accompishment. I am not patient, and waiting for dough to rise is one of the hardest things, but it pays off.
My cooking tragedies
Would have to be all previouse attempts at yeast bread. I was told not to despair one time my bread turned out really REALLY dense. "Don't despair" I was told, "It can be used in cannons". Yah, that made me feel better....actually it did. I laughed.

Banana Banana Bread
I have made this recipe on many many occasions, and it was raved about everytime!! I have added applesauce the few times I didn't have enough bananas, and it turned out marvelous.
