Sour Cream Cutouts Cookies

This is the same recipe that my Grandmother from Reedley, CA always made. The trick is to keep the dough very cold. I, too, roll out just a little of the dough at a time. It helps to put the dough in the freezer for just a couple minutes as you go. Then be careful not to over bake them. A very good tasting, light and soft sugar cookie. Well worth the work!

Fruit Salad Dressing

This is terrific! Very easy to make and so tasty. And I don't have to worry about my bananas and apples turning color since it has the lemon juice in it. I used a combination of fresh and canned fruit and it is just delicious!

Oregon Salmon Patties

Very easy and very tasty! I was a little concerned at first because patties are very wet and difficult to form. But they fried up perfect and very moist. Will make this again!

Easy Ice Cream Cake

I omitted the Cool Whip and added a layer of strawberry ice cream and strawberry sauce between the ice cream sandwiches. Absolutely delicious and a great presentation too. No one could tell that it was ice cream sandwiches. Excellent recipe. I can't wait to try other flavors of ice cream in the middle!

Beautiful Salad

I've made this salad several times now paired with Red Raspberry Vinaigrette from this site and always get rave reviews. I use Spring Greens bag mix in addition to spinach and add sliced mushrooms. Excellent recipe!

Honey Ribs

Luscious Slush Punch

Made this for Christmas Eve party last night and it was fabulous! Used cherry jello and ginger ale. Let the frozen punch sit out about 1hr before serving to soften. Just like a slurpee- excellent recipe and will be making again!

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Excellent recipe! Instead of frosting, I topped this with: 6oz chocolate chips and 1/2 cup butter- melt over low heat, then pour over brownies and refrigerate. This topping is much easier to cut then frosting and very tasty! Excellent brownies- I will be making these again!

Banana Banana Bread

Made these exactly as directed except added 1 tsp vanilla extract. Made 20 muffins and baked them for 20 min at 350. Very tasty and moist. My toddler loves them. For adults I would try adding spices and nuts.

Baked Pork Chops I

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Followed the directions exactly: nice moist cake BUT presentation is horrible. Impossible to line-up the layers just perfect and top layer cracked and fell apart. Also, not enough pineapple topping including in the recipe. Will NOT be making this again.

Banana Pudding IV

This is an excellent banana pudding and very, very easy to make. It tastes just like a banana cream pie. I layered mine in a trifle dish and it was the hit of the party. It's even better the next day when the vanilla wafers have softened. Next time I will try pound cake instead of the vanilla wafers. Highly recommend this one!
