About this Cook
I am a mother of two ( 5 & 6 year old ) and have been married for nearly 9 years. I love being so involved with my children and making great food for my entire family.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook all kinds of food. I really try to make things as healthy as possible for my family. We do not cook any fried food. I love organic foods even before it has become so popular.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents) used to get together every Sunday for dinners. We have kinda slacked off but that is something I really enjoy.
My cooking triumphs
I consider every cooking experience a great one.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried to cook gravy I was about 17 it turned out something that you would think chalk might taste like. ughhhh!!!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
I made these for a PTA Membership Teacher Luncheon and what a big hit! So many people asked for the recipe. They are easy peasy to make and super delish. I will be making these for many years to come. Thanks for the awesome recipe. I did take advice of others and froze the peanut butter cups and also cooled them in the fridge before putting them on the cooling rack.

Crispy Butterscotch Cookies
The concept sounded great but my results were just horrible...The cookie did get nice and puffy when cooking but when I took them out of the oven and put them on the cooling rack the fell...Yikes! My husbands 2cents are that they are very tasty and sweet the only problem is that they were flat and got crispy fast. I would have to say that I would most likely never make this recipe again.

Simple Country Ribs
Greatness!!! I made these a couple of times in like a week time frame. The first time I made them, they were not seasoned. The second time they had a deal going on at the grocery store buy one pack of seasoned boneless pork ribs get two free so I used those the second time around and WOW it was like a party in my mouth...lol! I made them the second time for a 4th of July party and received compliments from everyone. The host called the next day and asked for the recipe. There is such a great debate over grilling or boiling well I absolutely see NOTHING wrong with boiling ribs from here on out. The final result is like fall apart tender and juicy piece of meat.
