About this Cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandfather was from Finland and we still make some of the traditional dishes from there, such as a type of sweet cardamom flavoured bread and of course, finnish pancakes!

Peanut Butter Banana Muffins
I thought these were good. I used a bit extra peanut butter and used crunchy. Not too sweet, subtle banana flavour, but not bland as some suggest. Certainly not dry. that's an indication that you've left them in the oven too long! Oven times are only a guideline. I added a dried banana on top instead of the topping. (not fond of sugar toppings) I have no idea why so many gave this recipe 1 star....

Sugar-Free Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce
Yum! I made another sauce with date syrup as well for those that don't like whiskey :)

Cardamom Cookies
Soft, delicious. Don't cook these too long or you lose that lovely texture. They're great with raisins or dates and with extra cardamom.
