Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
I followed previous advice and doubled the tomatoes (I used 2 cans of diced tomatoes), used 1 cup wine, and only used 1/2 of the cooked pasta. It was yummy, I will season the shrimp ahead of time with S and P,lemon juice and lemon zest.

Deer Poppers

Wow!!! Delicious!!!! Always looking for recipes for my freezer full of venison. I used the tenderloin cut. I didn't have steak sauce so I used Worchester. I sliced fresh jalapeno round slices, removed the seeds and filled them with softened cream cheese. Half my family could not take the heat, so next time I will make half with red pepper chunks. Broiled instead of grilled, can't wait to make it again.

This is a great dip, been making it for years. I use shredded preseasoned taco cheese. It's always a hit

Flank Steak Roll-Up

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
This was tasty and smelled amazing while cooking. I just bought a new crockpot and it only took 5 hours on low to cook, I added a little extra beef broth near the end of cooking, a lot of the juices were absorbed by the stuffing, there would have been burning without the extra juices. Hubby loved it.

Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
Delicious, I browned and crumbled 1/2lb sausage, then added the celery, onion and garlic to it. Used canned fire roasted tomatos instead of fresh, and added fresh chopped spinach at the end. I added more chicken broth to create a less dense soup. Brought it to work and everyone loved it. Thanks for the recipe

Chinese Lion's Head Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
Summer veggie co-op brings me an assortment of vegetables each week and finding recipes to use them all can be a challange. I looked up Chinese cabbage and found this. I loved it, Next time I will add some minced garlic and chili spice to the meatballs, but it was a nice change!
