Pecan Pie Bars I

Wonderful recipe. I made for a Christmas party and got lots of compliments. It's like the pie, but with a thicker crust. My husband loved them!

Garlic Roasted Chicken

This was okay. The chicken was moist and cooked in the correct time frame. The gravy however was very different. Mine turned out very dark in color like a beek gravy. It had an interesting taste. Not bad, just different. It would have been really good on a steak. My husband also commented that he thought it was pretty salty. I like salty so I didn't find it so. I don't know if I would make again.

Cheesy Chicken and Chive Sauce

I thought this was pretty good. Unfortunately, I forgot my husband is not a big fan of mustard. I disagree with the other review that says you could add more. I thought it smelled quite mustardy. I also disagree about the grease. I had even commented during dinner that I thought this sauce was a lot less greasy than other white sauces I've tried to make. It had a nice thick texture and good flavor.

This had wonderful flavor and the meat and veggies were very tender. It was quite thick though, which I liked. However, if you want more broth you'll need to add more liquid.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

This is fabulous! I made this for a small group of my friends and it was a hit! It's a great recipe for Tiramisu because the ingredients aren't as expensive as for other recipes I've tried. I used the technique describes by Jean Marie and posted October 3, 08. Making one coffee layer and one white and then slicing them horizontally. The result was beautiful and I had plenty of filling to do it. In fact be generous with the filling because I had some left over.
