I made this and accidentally forgot to boil the noodles first! I realized it as I was putting it into the oven. So I added about 2 cups of boiling water to the dish, covered it with aluminum foil, and baked it for the 35 minutes.....and it turned out great! The noodles were perfect! My family never knew my mistake and they LOVED it! Also, I was able to find whole wheat egg noodles which made me happy. Delicious recipe! I will make it again really soon.
