Cranberry Gelatin Salad

Double stars for this, 5 just isn't enough!Loved it for my thanksgiving feast and it will definately appear for Christmas too. Divine and so easy to make. I couldn't bear to put it in a 9x13 pan though. It's too beautiful...just lightly oil a mold of any kind and chill it until set. To release it from the mold put the bottom of the mold in hot water for no more than 10 seconds and flip it onto a plate . Gorgeous just gorgeous!

Sugar Coated Pecans

I don't even like pecans and I found myself nibbling on these. My family raved about them. I used them like confetti on my big Thanksgiving serving and party trays. A wonderful snack and a beautiful garnish. Very easy too. With these around no one missed the pecan pie!

Maple Roast Turkey

This is a good recipe. I'm grading it fairly tough though. I was dissapointed in the gravy flavor...much sweeter than I was expecting. Overall, the flavor did not soak in like it has with my other recipes. To me this is not for the traditional Thanksgiving feast, but any other time a unique recipe worth trying for a turkey meal.

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2004
Exactly like the recipe says and a wonderful autumn cake. I used mealy apples and it still tasted wonderful. A small word of caution...be careful on your baking time. Just a few minutes too long make the edges crunchy. It doesn't ruin the taste but it will hurt the consistancy. Enjoy!

Cajun Style Meatloaf

Wow! That's got some kick to it! Any restaurant would be proud to have that on its menu. I didn't use any butter because I wanted to make it a lil' heart healthy. It's a great way to get my kid to drink milk too! :D

Fruit Salad in Seconds

Could life get any simplier? The best part it's so simple you can add to it. Throw in a dash of lemon/orange peel. Garnish with whipped topping or white chocolate shavings. Switch the strawberry flavors out for cherries. Have fun with it!

Luscious Lemon Snaps

Oh, heaven help those who use this recipe. Vegan is hard enough to bake with when it comes to cookies. Usually, they spread out, get gooey, stick like taffy to your baking sheet, and then sometimes they turn out wonderfully. Wonderful did not happen with these cookies. My only advice since the taste is decent, keep your cookies small. Small and less oil. Also when removing from the sheet. Cool them at least 5 mins first. Then take the side of your spatula and in short QUICK movements transfer the cookie to the cooling rack. I wish you the best. Some will love this and some will curse it!
