it's always hard to describe myself to others...i guess im kinda like a rollercoaster ride i looooove to cook so just cooking in general is a favorite to me no matter what it is! texmex...i grew up on it...i still love it although i do alter my moms recipes a bit (like cooking meat so that its not so dry...sorry mom) i still like sitting behind a plate of refried beans, fried potatoes and cheese and a nice juicy piece of fried chops or steak and homemade salsa and tortillas...mmmmmmmm overcomming the fear of cooking indian food...i married a man from india and i had to learn quickly how to incorporate a lot of spices (most that i've never heard of in my entire life) into so many dishes!!! but i did it!!! still not a pro, but im working towards that a little each day! some of my indian cooking when i first started...i made a curry sooo spicy that our ears were ringing because of the heat...needless to say the bathroom was occupied for the rest of the night.
