I have been married for 37 years, have 3 children, and 3 dogs.I also have 6 grand-children.My daughter introduced me to allrecipes and I love getting on my laptop and looking for new recipes. My daughter will challenge me with cooking competitions.We try to outdo each other with new recipes. Even though I have been cooking for over 37 years, I still consider myself intermediate because I am always learning something new. I will cook just about anything, but I really enjoy baking. My mother used to work in a bakery and always baked when I was little,and I guess she passed her love for baking down to me. Thanks Mom. My biggest cooking triumph was when I finally made my first loaf of homemade bread. I always had trouble making bread from scratch, but now I can make it like the pros. The worst tragedy I had was when I was first married and tried to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving. I didn't realize that they put a little bag of goodies inside, so they baked inside the turkey. What a surprise to me when I pulled that out.
