I am married to a wonderful man. We have an 8 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. Our daughter was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart syndrome, meaning half a heart. She has been through 2 surgeries to date. I spend my time as a stay at home mom as my daughter needs special care right now. I love to write and hope to be published someday. My hobbies include the outdoors, reading, writing, and cooking. I love to experiment with my cooking and have a little fun. So far, I have not messed anything up. Knock on wood. I love to bake. That is my absolute favorite thing to do. I love to invent recipes. I have been doing this more and more lately and have been surprised with the yummy things I have come up with. My mother taught me a lot about cooking. She uses a lot of herbs in her cooking and as a result, I do too. I love to include a lot of flavor in my dishes. My mother also had the traditional sugar cookie decorating at Christmas time and I have carried that on with my own children. I have developed some recipes that I must say, could be award winners None
