Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
I've made many types of bread before, but never pumpkin & this is the ultimate recipe for it! Absolutely out of this world! After reading many reviews, the only change I've made in the recipe is add an additional 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves & ginger than what is called for in the original recipe for just a little added spice. I also had to bake it for a few more minutes than what is called for, but thats because of my oven. Also, I found that you can get either 2 5" x 9" loaves, 1-5" x 9" loaf & 2-1# mini loaves or 4-1# mini loaves. This way you've got many choices in case you'd like to give as gifts for the holidays! This is a fantastic recipe folks, you've got to give it a try!
