Fresh Tomato Salsa

We love this salsa. 2 serano peppers for us with no seeds. We make it about once a week during the summer, for something really tasty, add a fresh peach.... sooooo good.

My husband asked me to make these everyday! So good, doubled the apples (shredded all), added cinnamon to the batter (lots). Next time I will add apple sauce too. Thanks for a great recipe.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
I love this recipe. I made it as written and it was OK, the second time I substituted warm beer for the water and it was fantastic. I even froze the dough after I shaped it into rolls and just thawed it on the counter and baked it the next day after it had risen. I will make this bread again and again.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
The husband, the picky 6 year old, the 5,2 and 1 year old LOVED this dinner. So nice to have a meal with no complaints. The 5 year old ate 2 sandwiches! I used the french bread rolls to die for from this site. Also used steaks instead of roast (all I had), 1 packet of beefy onion soup mix, 2 cups of beef broth, Budweiser beer (do not use a cheap beer), 2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp salt, pepper, dash of Worcestershire and some onion. It was so good. I had to add a little more seasoning right before serving. Sliced it super thin with a commercial slicer. The next night I shredded it and thickened the sauce and served over noodles, it was good, but better as a sandwich.

Easy Peach Cobbler

So good, very sweet. We mixed blackberries into it and mixed the cream cheese into the cake mix crumbly style. Very easy, we've already made it twice.

Peanut Butter Stuffed Jalapenos

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
I couldn't bring myself to try it, but my guest who loves peppers ate them all. They were kind of messy to make, next time I'll put the peanut butter in a small zip lock and cut a small corner off and squeeze it into the peppers.

Cake Balls

Easy and so impressive. The best is spice cake/cream cheese frosting. The lighter cakes have a funny texture when mixed with frosting and taste raw. Carrot cake works well too.

Fried Apple Pies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
OK, apple and peach pies are really good. But if you want something absolutely delicious, fill the pies with chocolate pudding. I used the instant kind and mixed a little cinnamon in. I also coated the outside with sugar/cinnamon. So easy and so delicious. I double the recipe and make 20 pies.

Delicious, these taste just like restaurant onion rings. Very easy when you use ziplock bags for flouring, coating and crumbing. I used stuffing mix crushed up. Yum!

So, I had to try this recipe because of the huge number of reviews. I was so sad when I tasted it fresh out of the oven yesterday ... I was not impressed. But...today.. it is so good. I would recommend not even trying it until the second day. :) I followed the recipe exactly, and it is amazing, the second day.

Breakfast Sausage

This sausage is delicious. We made 60 pounds in 10 pound batches. It tastes better than store bought. Not over powering at all. My whole family loves it. The only change we made was to substitute cayenne pepper for the crushed red pepper.
