I made two batches of dough according to Grandma Johnson's recipe. Before adding any raisins, I divided each batch in two, and added approx 1 cup of additional ingredients to make 4 varieties:
Cinnamon Raisin (1/2 cup cinnamon chips and 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 tsp vanilla)
Blueberry (3/4 cup fresh blueberries and some lemon zest)
Cranberry White Chocolate (1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries and 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, orange zest)
Chocolate Chip Pecan (1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, 1/2 tsp vanilla. I brushed the scones with melted butter before baking, and baked for 25-30 min.
