I work most of the time so meals have to be quick. A lot of times they are out of the box are can. I am also called the crockpot queen because I use my crockpot for a lot of my cooking. I love roses as you can see. I captured this photo of the rose with the bee on the petal. I love reading books, mysteries mainly.

Barbeques are my family cooking traditions. If meat isn't marinated, to my family it usually is not very good.

Boiled Peanuts
I live in the south, so boiled peanuts are second nature. I like the jumbo virginia white peanuts. Make sure any peanut you boil are what we call green peanuts (fresh out of the garden). People here also make Cajun Boiled Peanuts. You cook the same way, but you add crab boil to the water, and of course lots of salt.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
First time I tried, I followed cooking time, but was not done. I have an old oven, so my cooking time is 20 minutes. I received a lot of peanut butter after the hurricane, which was about to expire, so I tried this recipe. I had a dozen jars of peanut butter, and I am now down to three. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT cookies! Thanks for sharing!

Glazed Corned Beef
Great and easy recipe. I had a can of apricots, but I didn't have the apricot preserves, so I took out half a can and mashed them up. Added all the other ingredients. This recipe still turned out great. My hubbie loved it. Thanks for sharing!
