Blackened Chicken

This was fantastic, the only problem I had was all of the smoke from blackening it, all of the spices that came up from the smoke, was making me cough for a while.

We LOVE this stuff. I make it for any party I'm asked to bring something, its so easy. I took the suggestion from someone else and mixed some panko bread crumbs with the cheese before adding it on top. So perfect!

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

I'm giving this a 5 star because it is so incredibly easy, and is so good. We love cayenne, red pepper and garlic in this house. It was perfect. I sauteed the peppers a little longer, and added a half of a chopped onion. I will be making this often.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Burgers

I loved these, DH did too. I did cut back a little on the sour cream from other reviews. We had a side salad with the sandwich and I added the honey mustard to the salad. It's so easy, and I'm sure I'll be making this again.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Oh I loved these so much!! It was so incredibly easy, I'm sure I'm going to keep some black beans on hand more often, when I don't feel like spending a lot of time on dinner. My DH, liked the taste, he just said he missed the meat.

Baked Tortilla Chips

I think these are great. I had 6" tortillas and cut them in 1/6 it seemed like a better size, I had cut them in 1/4, and those turned out chewy in the center, but the 1/6th turned out perfect. I think the only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because they are a little too thick. BUT, I always seem to have corn tortillas left, and this is great to use them, and they're pretty addicting to snack on.

Ten Minute Szechuan Chicken

I added frozen stir fry veggies, doubled the sauce, doubled the cayenne pepper, and added ground ginger to the corn starch. I actually with it had a little more kick, it was also pretty salty. I had it with fried rice, I think it will probably taste better with white, there is just so much flavor.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

I loved this recipe, I was able to marinate for 4 hours, it was a little salty, and I will use low sodium soy sauce next time. I did add a little extra worcester and I also added a little bit of Dale's (my DH loves Dales)

Lazy Katie's Taco Salad

A friend of mine made this recipe while we were in college. The difference was she added catalina dressing, AND instead of regular tortilla chips, she used Doritios. This is my favorite taco salad.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

My mom used to make wet burritos similar to this when I was growing up in Michigan. We had a group of people over, and I made these, with a couple changes, and people wanted to take their leftovers home with them. I used salsa instead of the tomato sauce. I also made one with just bean, and added a portion of the sauce to the bean, and added 1/2 tbsp cumin and 1/2 tbsp chili powder. I baked them in the oven together to melt the cheese.
