My favorite things to cook
I love baking cookies, cakes and fudge as well as canning apple butter, pumpkin butter and cranberry chutney.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom and grandmother and I get together every year after Thanksgiving and bake Christmas cookies. My grandmother rolls out the dough and cuts them, then my mom and I decorate with colored suger, etc. We usually make about 20-22 dozen.

Honey Bun Cake I
This is VERY sweet but oh so good! I made it for a baby shower at work and everyone loved it. I will definitely keep this to make it again.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
I make this for Christmas every year and from what I've been told it's the first to go out of all the breads I make.

Cranberry Orange Bread
This braed tastes great, but the batter is very sticky and somewhat hard to spread evenly. Rated on tasted alone, I'd give it 5 stars.
