Golden Rum Cake

I've had this in my Recipe Box for a long time and finally made it yesterday. This was incredible!!! So moist, so delicious! The only change that I'll make next time is to add more walnuts. I will definitely make this again!

Chicken Marsala

We loved this! My husband who has said in the past that he doesn't like chicken Marsala...had two BIG helpings and finished every bit of sauce. I served this on a light egg fettucine. Also made the following changes: Used the same amount of oil and butter but doubled the Marsala and wine (used white wine) sauted the chicken and then took it out and kept it warm, then sauted the mushrooms and added shallots and garlic powder (didn't have any fresh garlic). Added flour mixture at the end to thicken. This is really a keeper...can't wait to make this again!

Tuna Noodle Casserole

Yum! Loved this recipe, will keep this as our standard tuna casserole. Made slight changes: Used only 1/2 c celery and increased green peppers to 1/2 c. Added 1 T dijon mustard and 1 T white wine to the soup mixture. Only used 1/2 c milk and reduced mayo to 1/4 c and added 1/4 sour cream when mixing all the ingredients together. My husband had 3 servings!

Spanish Rice II

This is awesome spanish rice. I used the suggestions from Jodi (except the bacon grease, we didn't have any bacon). This was amazing! We will definintely add this to our regular side dishes!!

WOW! This was unbelievable! Everyone just LOVED it! It was so elegant too! I reduced the sugar to a little less than a 1/2 cup and cut the butter in half too. It was absolutely delicious!! My husband cannot wait until I make this again!

Hash Brown Casserole II

Yummy, my family loved this with the ham on Christmas Eve! I accidentally left out the melted butter (which I had reduced to only 1/4 cup) and didn't miss it at all! Next time I may add some parmesan cheese to the topping. This is a keeper.

Cheesy Macaroni and Beef Casserole with Thyme

We really enjoyed this recipe. Loved the tangy taste from the mustard and wine! I followed the advice and used evaporated milk and an extra sharp cheese. I ended up sort of messing up the recipe and making double the sauce, but I don't think that we would have like it as much with the normal amount of cheese sauce, as we felt it was slightly dry, even after "doubling" the sauce and using the correct amount of noodles. Will try this again, this will be fun to play with!

Hot Sausage Dip

This was awesome! Received lots of great feedback and was asked for the recipe. The sour cream makes it really creamy, but next time I will add less, maybe only 3/4 to 1 cup. Definitely follow Carey's suggestion...use 2 can of tomatoes and chilis.

Great recipe and easy too! I substituted 1/3 cup of dry white wine for the milk and used a package of garlic croutons (crushed) instead of the stuffing. Very good.

Tasty Green Bean Casserole

Cornbread Muffins I

Thank you Lisa K for the best cornbread muffin recipes ever! They were so most and yummy. My only modification was to use buttermilk instead of regular milk. They had a great texture and flavor, will make these often for my husband that is a "cornbread Connoisseur"!

Cranberry Orange Almond Bread
