Rum or Bourbon Balls

the exact recipe i was looking for! what a hit they were with my friends! my only complaint is that the recipe claims to make 24 servings. i'm not sure what they're considering a serving, but each batch made ~45 bite-size pieces.

the original recipe has a little too much garlic for me, but other than that it's top notch! i often bring it to dinner parties, though it's a bit pricey to make. also, if you don't have a food processor, be prepared to spend quite a bit of time preparing this. absolutely delicious recipe with a lot of character!

Mild Coconut Tofu Curry

man, they weren't kidding when they say "mild." the amount of water it calls for totally drowns the flavor out. i ended up adding more curry, sugar, salt, two serrano peppers and about half a cup of peanut butter to compensate. still, though much improved, it did not have the bold flavor i was looking for. if i do try this again, i'll use two cans of coconut milk, no water, and double up on the spices.
