Easy, Fast Crunch Bars (Highly Addicting!)
About this Cook
Hurried mom of three.
My favorite things to cook
Any new recipe or something fast. I enjoy baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Potato salad the way my mom made it with the sliced egg on top. I make deviled eggs (or Satan's eggs, my husband calls them) at just about each family occasion.
My cooking triumphs
Able to bake wedding and party cakes. Also, the wonderful dishes I pick up here and there. Always looking!
My cooking tragedies
I still can't seem to get the whole egg white or whipping cream thing down. Very frustrating!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
Pretty good recipe. I cut the high quality sirloin I bought from the butcher to about 1 inch but next time I'll slice it even thinner to achieve a less chewy/dry meat. I cooked mine on high but I think a longer, lower cooking temperature would also help with the texture of the beef.

Tasty Tuna Burgers
Something different, very good and easy recipe! Don't change a thing. Great summer recipe for your range top.

Spiced Beef Stew
What a keeper! Loved the deep, sweet flavor of the broth. Thanks Corwynn. I simmered mine on the stove top and used fresh vegetables. Remember - when adding the flour to the pot, add some of the beef broth to break up the flour rue. I will make this again and again. Even my 3 1/2 and 9 1/2 ate it, and they are very, very picky eaters. :-)
