Hey, all! My parents are Canadian, and I'm an only...which means I get to pick my brothers and sisters! (pros and cons to each, eh? ;p) Love visiting Canada and far-away places, as well as cooking up a storm. I LOVE hearing that my cookies or treats made someone's day. My coworkers/guinea pigs always look up to see if I brought a treat tin. :) Right now, my focus is on sweets because they're portable and people don't spend enough time making them, as who'll eat the whole recipe of whatever?! I enjoy making bread. Canadian sugar pie! It's AWESOME if done right! I had KILLER pie the last time I was in Quebec, and have been tinkering to find the holy grail recipe.... Ah, isn't everything a double-edged sword?!? Sugar pie, NOT done right! Soupy on the inside, burnt on the outside! But it's still pretty good in a pudding dish....lol
